M We recognize that the homeschool community at-large, which is rich in resources and communal support, often centers the needs and cultural norms of the majority, creating barriers of access to support and belonging for people of color. Instead, our school model centers the Black experience in home education. Taking a whole-family approach, we function as a “broker of equity”, connecting families with resource-rich communities, programming and learning experiences that leverage agency in home-based education. Our students find connection and learning opportunities through an interconnected hub of home schools and co-ops. Our home educators are empowered to build thriving home schools through access to a network of academic, financial and wellbeing support and communities rooted in heritage and identity all under the umbrella of an independent school.
V Our vision is to see families thriving so that children are empowered and free to explore, discover and learn without boundaries.
